Southwestern Recognizes Top Entertainment Law Students as 2025 Biederman Scholars
LOS ANGELES — Ƶ has selected thirteen students as 2025
Biederman Scholars, the institution’s highest honor for achievement in entertainment, media, and sports law. The new cohort brings professional experience in music publishing, film and series, technology, sports, media, visual-art restitution, and more.
The 2025 Biederman Scholars are:

Scholars are chosen through a competitive review of academic performance, writing, and demonstrated engagement within the entertainment, sports, and media industries. The program, administered by Southwestern’s Donald E. Biederman Entertainment, Media, and Sports Law Institute, provides each recipient with mentorship from practicing attorneys and executives, priority placement in entertainment-industry externships, and leadership roles in Institute events and research projects.
Southwestern offers nearly 50 entertainment, media, and sports law courses, a Golden Globe Foundation-supported Entertainment & the Arts Legal Clinic, and an externship pipeline to law firms, studios, labels, agencies, and production companies. The Hollywood Reporter has ranked Southwestern among the nation’s top ten entertainment-law schools for eight consecutive years.
